Strength
in Numbers
At Baldwin Scofield we have been advising entrepreneurs and small companies for well over 30 years and have built considerable experience in every aspect of accounting and finance.
Nick Baldwin
Managing Partner
Nick built up his experience in business and expertise in accounting and finance working with two of the big four firms of accountants both in the UK and Hong Kong. For the last 25 years he has been running his own consultancies and firms, advising a wide range of clients in different sectors. His approach is to draw alongside clients and tailor services directly to their needs. This involves getting to know the business in detail and, more importantly, the owners, management, and their goals and aspirations. Nick enjoys meeting a wide variety of people and learning what makes them tick.

His focus now is advising ambitious entrepreneurs (“searchers” and other serial acquirers) through the complex process of identifying, evaluating, acquiring, and growing small to medium-sized businesses that drive value creation and positive change. Sam is a Chartered accountant and has also obtained his Series 7 and 63 securities licenses in the United States. “Baldwin Scofield are a valuable source of expertise in the tricky areas that we have to navigate as a charity. They assist with our VAT advice and filing and have been ready to perform and sign off on the special audits that we require as a European Commission funded charity. We have built a solid working relationship with Nick over many years and know that we can turn to him when we need support and advice.”
